Project Overview

This property is located in Atlantic Drive directly on the waterfront. The design was carried out by Michael Friel Architectural Design & Surveying. It started as a dormant farm cottage with old farm buildings and was transformed into this current, modern cottage. We renovated the cottage with a modern integrated design while maintaining its traditional style and look with a natural slate roof and exposed rafter tails. We gave it whitewash style exterior walls and red windows, an open plan kitchen, diner and living area and a geothermal heating system. We also installed patio doors which overlook the sea. The cottage surrounding area was finished with decorative Donegal Quartz from Muckish Sand & Gravel.
